Muhammad Sani Aliyu Taraya Jahun Visits Red Pointers Executive Director, Discusses Peace and Community Engagement

Muhammad Sani Aliyu Taraya Jahun, a respected community leader and advocate for grassroots development, paid a courtesy visit to Comrade Bello Gama, the Executive Director of Red Pointers Investigative Reporters, on Sunday, May 11, 2025.

The meeting, held at the Red Pointers headquarters, centered on critical discussions involving community issues, peacebuilding efforts, and potential resolutions affecting Jahun, Miga, and Kyawa communities in Jigawa State.

During the visit, Muhammad Sani Aliyu highlighted the growing need for inclusive dialogue, youth engagement, and collaborative intervention to address local challenges such as insecurity, social unrest, and underdevelopment.

“Our communities are in need of unity and structured dialogue. This visit is part of our continuous effort to find lasting solutions and promote peace across Jahun, Miga, and Kyawa,” he said.

In response, Comrade Bello Gama commended Muhammad Sani Aliyu for his dedication to peace and community service, expressing the readiness of Red Pointers to support initiatives that foster social harmony and responsible governance.

“We are glad to partner with individuals like Taraya Jahun who are committed to truth, peace, and development. Investigative journalism plays a key role in amplifying community voices and exposing issues that need attention,” Gama noted.

The two parties agreed to explore future collaborations on public awareness, conflict resolution, and advocacy campaigns aimed at improving livelihoods and governance within local communities.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to sustaining peace, promoting civic responsibility, and encouraging youth participation in community development.
