Royal Sale Sparks Ownership Controversy Over ₦800,000 Stall at Katari Kaduna

On June 23, 2024, His Royal Highness, Agom Kachia, Mr. Zamani Dogon Yaro (JP), sold a tent stall located in Katari to Mallam Aliyu Mohammad for the sum of ₦800,000. The sale was fully documented, with agreements duly signed and witnessed by both parties.

Following the transaction, Agom Kachia issued a formal sales agreement to Mallam Aliyu Mohammad. In addition, an affidavit was obtained from the Katari Customary Court to support and affirm the legal ownership of the stall by the buyer.

However, despite the completed sale and legal documentation, Mallam Aliyu Mohammad has reportedly been denied access to use the stall since the purchase—almost a year ago. According to Mallam Aliyu, all efforts to resolve the matter have proven unsuccessful.

Our correspondent, Comrade Bello Gama, reached out to His Royal Highness, Mr. Zamani Dogon Yaro (JP), for clarification. In response, Agom Kachia requested two weeks to provide an official statement regarding the matter.
